Introduction
Terrorism is a complex global phenomenon and so is fighting it, hence the importance of a concerted approach to ensure the security of citizens. The so-called “war on terrorism” can only really succeed if crime ,injustice and corruption are fought alongside the fight against extremist ideologies. If it fails to do so, it may even be counterproductive.
