This year, Azerbaijan will host the largest climate conference – COP29. The decision was made in December last year. The country had less than a year to prepare. The most important point here is that this decision was based on a consensus of almost 200 countries. This is also a manifestation of respect for Azerbaijan. It is worth noting that the COP will be held in this region for the first time in history. The country is currently in an active stage of preparations for the conference.

ستستضيف أذربيجان هذا العام أكبر مؤتمر للمناخ – كوب 29 . تم اتخاذ القرار بشأنه في ديسمبر من العام الماضي. وكان أمام البلد أقل من عام للاستعداد. والنقطة الأهم هنا هي أن هذا القرار استند إلى إجماع بين ما يقرب من 200 دولة. وهذا أيضًا مظهر من مظاهر الاحترام لأذربيجان. تجدر الإشارة إلى أن مؤتمر الأطراف سينعقد في هذه المنطقة لأول مرة في التاريخ. والبلد حاليًا في مرحلة نشطة من الاستعدادات للمؤتمر.

Lala Khalilzade is an editor of the Arabic Wikipedia and is the author of more than 750 articles in the Arabic language.
